Shedhalle Zürich

Shedhalle is a space for contemporary art in the Rote Fabrik, originally occupied in the 80's an later officially allocated an co-financed by the city of Zürich. The team of three (now four) women which took over in 1994 implements a politicized notion of art. Rather than featuring individual artists, Shedhalle brings together agents in the art, critical theory and political activism.
